Keyboard Shortcuts

Master MixMatrix with these keyboard shortcuts. Updated for v4.4.1 with new Mix Player controls.

Mix Player Controls

These shortcuts control the dual-deck preview player for auditioning track pairings.

Transport

Shortcut Action
Space Play/Pause both decks from current positions
Tab Switch active deck (for cue point operations)
← Previous pairing
→ Next pairing

Waveform & Display

Shortcut Action
G Toggle ghost waveform overlay (see both decks aligned)

Cue Points

Set, jump to, and delete cue points on the active deck. Use Tab to switch which deck is active.

1 - 8 Jump to cue point 1-8 on active deck
Cmd+1 - 8 Set cue point 1-8 at current position
Shift+1 - 8 Delete cue point 1-8 Fixed in v4.4.1
Shift+Option+← Fine-nudge active cue point -1ms
Shift+Option+→ Fine-nudge active cue point +1ms
Tip: Cue points are saved per-track across sessions. Set cue points on your favorite mix-in spots and they'll be there next time you load the track.

Nudge & Sync

Fine-tune track alignment with per-deck nudge controls. Each nudge moves the deck by 33ms. New in v4.4.1

Deck A (Left) Lime

Left Option Nudge Deck A backward (-33ms)
Left Control Nudge Deck A forward (+33ms)

Deck B (Right) Cyan

Shortcut Action
Right Option Nudge Deck B backward (-33ms)
Right Control Nudge Deck B forward (+33ms)
Pro tip: When beats are slightly off, use nudge to align the downbeats. Listen for phasing - when it disappears, the tracks are in sync.

Move through your library and pairings quickly.

Library & Search

Search and filter your track collection.
